Dear Students,
I wish you a Happy and Healthy 2011. I cant's believe that three and a half years passed
since Broadway Dance Center moved to their new facilities on 45th St.
Two years ago, Manhattan Movement and Arts Center opened its magnificent studios and
theater on the West Side and last January, Peridance Center opened its new facility on East
13th Street (East of Union Square) . I congratulate Diane King, Rose Caiola and Igal Peri .
You are providing our community state of the art facilities :teachers, students, dancers,
parents and friends have a place to work, create, grow and have a home away from home.
I have taught more classes and more students from around the world this past year than
ever. I have met wonderful aspiring dance students through the International Visa programs,
the Professional and Certificate programs,. Additionally, I had the pleasure to teach Dance
Masters of America, Chapter 18, CT. and traveled to Milltown and Medford New Jersey to
work with young students at Today's Dance and 1St Position schools.
I am looking forward to a productive 2011 . May Dance bring joy and growth to all of you.
